my award from a competition I recently entered. From hundreds of entries from all over the world, I was given the Top Prize in Fashion Design (Student Category).

My entry for the competition is a rethinking of Traditional Filipino clothing as well as costumes from neighboring Asian countries with colors inspired by the famous Manila Bay Sunset.

It is worth mentioning that the trophies presented were part of an installation entitled "Boronois" designed by the people from Laboratorio de Artes Binarios (LAB).

Too bad I wasn't able to attend the ceremony. (Probably some other time?) Nevertheless, its such an honor to be part of the contest and be given this recognition. To all the participants and the people of Puerto Rico Design Exchange, cheers! :)
